I am on the go a lot. Between the kids and a job that requires a lot of local travel, there are a few things that are just absolutely essential to me getting through the day. Here are a few of my favorites (oh and no, I am not getting paid to say all of this. That would be cool, but, yeah, it’s not happening.):

Bare Escentuals Beauty On The Go Compact: This is a fabulous compact. I have been using Bare Escentuals for about two years now, I’m a huge fan of the product. But, the powders are too large to put in my purse and if one of them spilled-yuck. This is a great compact with a large mirror, plus the power and a small brush (way better than a goofy compact cloth pad.) Love it.

Clark and Mayfield Rolling Tote (E-Bags.com): I get more compliments on this one item than just about anything else I own, even my kids. My bag is actually a color called Sunset Orange, which is no longer available (but the bag is identical.) The best thing about this bag is that I have my entire work life in here and go absolutely nowhere without it at work, yet it still looks almost brand new. This bag has been dragged up and down countless flights of stairs, escalators, stuffed under airplane seats, and tossed about in the back of my car, yet as recently as 4 days ago, I had someone tell me they love my bag. It’s worth every cent if you are looking for a good bag to carry your work items and need wheels/roll-top.

Lucky Brand Jeans: All work and no play, you know the saying. I love Lucky Brand Jeans. They somehow magically make your rear end look like you’ve spent weeks at the gym with a trainer. And they are over the top comfortable on top of that. These are not  mom jeans by any stretch of the imagination, but hey, I’m officially now 40, a mom, and I love these jeans. If you’re worried you might look like Tiffany from 1989, don’t buy the ones that are ripped. I promise, your husband will thank you. And if you’re not married, trust me, someone will notice.
