My cat has had two injections of cortizone, and at the moment I am monitoring him for his extreme scratching again. It's not a case of him scratching all the time, but biting himself until he bites off fur and makes himself bleed. He hasn't made himself bleed since the last injection, but If I notice any parts of patchy fur on him I have to keep an eye on them. Our little girl had the same problem--Benadryl and a raw diet saved us and her. I hope the relief lasts for both of you.
