Bed, Bath and Beyond…

We are headed home to Texas this evening, back to warmer weather and better cell phone signals. We’ve had a great time visiting the Hoosier state, although I still don’t know what a Hoosier is?

We are getting home really late, so I am purposly flying make-up free. That way, I can get straight into bed since I have to work tomorrow.

My mom dressed ‘light’ this time, no boots, no jewelry, not even so much as a big jacket, so she doesn’t have to strip again in airport security.

Yep, we are experienced travelers now, the two of us.

I was packing this afternoon and mentioned not wearing makeup so I could crash, and my mom said, “Hey, I found out you can get those Neutrogena face wipes that need no water. You can keep them by your bed and if you are tired, just wipe your face off right in bed, no need for a sink!”

Okay not that I have so many late nights that I need to wash my face in bed, but hey, you never know.

THEN, she says, “AND, they have these cool disposable toothbrush things you can keep by your bed also and just brush your teeth in bed ALSO.”

“FLING,” she says, with a wave of the arm! 

“You just toss them off the bed and pick them up in the morning!”

Okay. Now I’m a little worried.

The next thing I know, she’s gonna tell me I can sponge bathe in bed with no water, and rinse my hair in bed too!

I’m all about my bed. I love it.

Now I know what she’s doing when she tells me she’s watching TV with the covers pulled up to her chin every night.

She’s taking a bath!
