<description>Why does everyone have to get crazy when something new hits the airwaves. I insisted on a mammogram when I was 36 because of some troubles that no one could figure out...and I am glad I did. Everything was fine. My friend had one at 35 and they discovered a tumor so deep they said by the time she felt it, it would have been too late. For everyone I know who has had one, it was worth it. And, yeah, it is not fun, but it is not that bad either.

Holly

PS-there is something for you on my blog.

<description>I can&#039;t believe this news either. To suggest that self testing is unecessary - when it&#039;s free and easy - is insane.

My science teacher, a woman of fantastic influence to me when I was a child, battled breast cancer and lost.

If false positives waste money and effort, how do you equate those with the opposite result - failure to diagnose in time? Can a value really be place on a life?
