Oh man! That is quite a list. My daughter is 9 and it is harder to buy her stuff too. Gone are the days when I can buy a $5.00 stuffed animal and make her dreams come true!!

Luckily, she likes gift cards, although she told Grandma that she wanted a Sony PSP – both Grandma and I laughed in her face. Thank goodness my child is used to our sense of humor.

Remember, a Christmas list is a “WISH” list, not a “DEMAND” list. Yes, we parents always want to give our kids more, and especially more than we had growing up. But when you’re looking at their WISH list, remember all the presents they’ve unwraped, taken the toy out, and played with the box.
