Bella Blog.

Weekend 033

I’ve been playing with my Photoshop settings and my digital camera, and since I have the perfect pupil, Ms. Bella, I am going to post photos when I can. I know it will be fun to look back on them later and track her progress. Hopefully. ;)

These photos were taken yesterday.

I do not live in a rural area, I live in a major suburb of the 2nd largest city in the United States.

But, we don’t do things like everyone else in Texas.

Where else can you drive down the freeway and pass up cattle grazing.

There is a house right on the edge of downtown that I pass almost every day, with a horse grazing in the front yard.

No fence, not even a rope, that horse just eats every morning.

So, it’s no surprise that the edge of my subdivision has an unincorporated street where people have, what else, chickens.

We were walking the other day and, out of nowhere, those chickens must have heard us coming and (I promise I am so not making this up) started to cross the road single file.

My camera was at home by the computer. I didn’t even have my cell phone.

Stupid morning solace. I cannot believe I left everything electronic at home! What was I thinking!

The chickens crossing the road moment could have provided blog material for the next 6 months.

Bella and I both stood there looking at those chickens, like, ‘Really? Chickens?’

Now I take my camera every morning.

These photos were the NEXT DAY as we both waited for the chickens to come back out.

We’re still waiting.
