Summer is over, school has started and October has arrived! Enter our October Giveaway for your chance to win your choice of a $25 gift certificate to Bed, Bath and Beyond or Amazon.com (for all the dude readers not wanting bubble bath stuff. Dad.)

There are TWO ways you can win:

1.) Subscribe to the ShowMeTheMom e-mail list (sorry, not the RSS feed, must be e-mail subscription in order to accurately count entries)! This is the quickest and easiest way to enter. Note: you will need to check your e-mail and click the confirmation link in order for your subscription to count.

OR

2.) If you are already subscribed to the ShowMeTheMom list, you can get a second entry by simply commenting on ANY blog post located on this site. The entire archive is available on the front page. Just leave a comment, but be sure you mention the giveaway in your comment so we’ll know you want to be entered for the.

*The giveaway runs today, October 1, 2009-11:50 pm CST, October 14, 2009.

*The winner will be chosen at random using pre-selected randomizer software (don’t worry, I won’t cheat!)

*If a comment is deamed to be offensive (i.e. pornographic, racist, etc) it will be deleted and not considered.)

*Maximum two entries per person.

To participate in the ShowMeTheMom October 2009 Giveaway you must:

- Be 18 years old or older.

- Be a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, including APO/FPO addresses excluding Puerto Rico.

ShowMeTheMom will be accepting entries online  starting at or about 12:00:01 AM (CST) October 1, 2009 and ending at 11:59:59 PM October 14, 2009 (The “Contest Period”). All online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (CST) October 14, 2009. Proof that you entered your form and submission does not constitute proof or evidence that an entry was actually received within the Contest Period. Participants assume all risk of lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

HOW DO I ENTER? Maximum two entries per person. You may enter either online by subscribing to the ShowMeTheMom e-mail list (excludes RSS feed) OR by submitting one comment to any blog post located on the ShowMeTheMom website. Submitting an entry constitutes agreeing to the terms of these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor and/or its designee, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry of information or for entries which are garbled, damaged, incompletely received, otherwise defective or lost due to any reason, all of which will be voided. 5. WHAT CAN I WIN? $25 Gift Certificate to Bed, Bath and Beyond or Amazon.com, winner may choose but must notify ShowMeTheMom by October 31, 2009. Prizes cannot be assigned, transferred, exchanged or otherwise redeemed. Sponsor is not responsible for any costs associated with accepting or otherwise using the prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agents to use winner’s name, likeness, and Entry Piece for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
